Grand Cleric

The leader of organised Tathamite churches bears the title of the Grand Cleric often amended with details of the church they govern. In the Falaran Empire for instance the title in full states 'The Grand Cleric of the Tathamite Church within Falarin and all the Territories and Expanses Governed by the Blessed Line of Rodorian'.
Grand Cleric's have significant influence over their churches and are considered the final say in any theological decisions of the church. Appointment of Grand Cleric's varies by position with some favouring appointment by an external leader such as an Emperor while others prefer elections or trials within their membership.
