The Grand Duke of the Duchy of Rolén is the most senior Duke in the land whose power and position are more comparable to a King than a Duke. The Grand Duke is the formal ruler of Rolén and responsible for ensuring its residents are cared for and protected. The Grand Duke was traditionally coronated by the Grand Cleric of the Falaran Church and has often been a vocal champion of the churches interests among the nobility.
