Jarl Gothram
A bloodied veteran of many battles wearing stolen armour and wielding stolen blades. Gothram towers above his peers with pale skin that reflects his half-goliath blood. He moves with a brutish step showing little concern to those in his way.
Jarl Gothram was the ruler of Clan Varcheg during the mythic age and the Fireborn invasion. An accomplished raider Jarl Gothram challenged Skade in the election that led to her rising to the role of warchief and fiercely challenged her move towards isolationism. Eventually his criticism led to dissent and talk of a civil war began to spread. Not wishing to operate in the shadows Gothram visited Skade to lay down his challenge. After a long negotiation that lasted several days within the Great Hall Gothram and Sakde emerged as allies proclaiming Skade as the rightful 'Queen of Solstein' and began making plans for an invasion of the nearby lowlands to create a protective state for the Solsteiners.
During the invasion Jarl Gothram met Raz, Kanuna and Merric during their visit to the holds before the Battle of Gron. With clear tension between the groups Raz began sabotaging the hold until an encounter with Baba Lysaga led to a second meeting with the jarl. With a clear tension between them the party left the Varcheg hold without hope of allies.
Jarl Gothram would later lead an army to defend Gron against the Braende and lowlander offensives. During this march his army was infiltrated by the Ansiglose who, under Raz Palatine's command, would murder most of Clan Varcheg's warriors and Gothram himself.
