Ketto Family
This Noble family started with Yūkan'na Kettō, who dethroned one of the great Fiendlords, Hosim. Ever since the family has owned holdings in western Floren along the Gesh mountainside. Their estate helped cultivate the wild land and they lived their lives in relative peace with their surrounding lands.
The heirs of the Ketto line were traditionally the first born daughters of the Ketto's that all shared the curse of cat ears and a feline tail. Though there had been some speculation as to where this quirk had come from, the commonly accepted reasoning is that these magical markings denote the bloodline which started with Yūkan'na Kettō, the matriarch of the family. The local populace believed for many years that this was a fashion choice by the Kettos, who had yearly festivals surrounding the destruction of Hosim and cats.
Unfortunately the Ketto's line was threatened with destruction when the Burning Dawn found out about the curse and believed that the families existence threatened all of Drayth. A battalion of soldiers came in the night and destroyed the family home, killing Mr and Mrs Ketto and several of the children. Two escaped, the heir Kōun'na "Kuro" Kettō , and her brother Kibo. Both hope to reclaim their home and perhaps gain justice for the wrongs beset upon their family.
