War Gods Corpse The Pale Church
A massive hollow shells of beige stone and destroyed marble sits near center to the Fold. The sprawling skeleton of what was once a church, it's interior now replaced with dirt and foliage. Outside, the walls and structure are mostly rubble - though if one stares for long enough they can start to make out the intricate and carved stonework. The bits of roof that stand show glimpses of a painted ceiling equal in elegance to the one found in the Folds tavern. Now though, very few glimpses remain.
Known as the War Gods Corpse to the Dwarves and the Pale Church to those in the Fold, this ruin was once a dedicated site for the god of war - Iatus - in the elvish pantheon. However, with the empires fall and Iatus's own defeat this became a place less for worship and more for scorn. Now it's ruins only remain, a place said to be haunted by the ghosts of Iatus's most loyal followers.
