Gashadokuro

From a distance, a gashadokuro looks like a massive skeleton, either humanoid or quadrupedal. Upon closer inspection, it becomes clear that they are, in fact, comprised of the bones of a multitude of smaller skeletons, of all kinds of different species. They are generally quite misshapen, almost haphazard in their construction, but not to the point of fragility.   Gashadokuro are created unintentionally by Raiju. Whenever a Raiju kills something, it accidentally leaves behind a piece of necromantic magic. When enough corpses have this magic in them, they are drawn together and eventually form a gashadokuro. Because of the inherent instability of this magic, every gashadokuro's body is a bit different from all the others.   Gashadokuro have only one desire: destruction. Specifically, the destruction of the Principality of Naraka, but they will attack any sapient races they encounter. They generally ignore animals. The reason for this is unknown, but is widely speculated on. One of the more popular theories is that the first Raiju, intelligent enough to feel anger but not to understand it, and no longer in control of their necromantic powers, ended up permanently infusing said magic with their anger, then passing that magic on to their children. The Raiju no longer feel this anger, but the gashadokuro, created from the magic containing it, feel exactly as the first Raiju did.
