Kasha

Kasha are a type of cat-like Yokai, one of the demons of Naraka. They tend to be exceptional climbers and very difficult to throw off-balance. In addition, while they are primarily bipedal, they can move very quickly on all fours if they wish.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Kasha are best described as humanoid cats. Their heads are very similar to a cat's, their bodies are covered in fur, their legs have paws rather than feet, they have tails like those of cats, with the exception of the fact that they are prehensile and split into two near the base, and their arms end in hands with retractable claws which can, with great effort, be used to puncture low-end to mid-range steel.    They also have a minor connection to Magic, which grants them two abilities: the first is the ability to generate electricity in their hands, which can be expelled through their claws. Their second ability is to reanimate corpses. The number of these that one kasha can have at once, and their intelligence, are dependant on the individual kasha's skill. Most kasha can sustain reanimations of three small animals, or one person or medium-sized animal, and can make them intelligent enough to carry out commands of moderate complexity.

Genetics and Reproduction

Kasha reproduce sexually and are viviparous. Their gestation period is nine months. They are typically born in litters of five or more and are significantly smaller than the children of most other races at birth.

Ecology and Habitats

Kasha prefer temperate climates.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Kasha are carnivorous and are not very adaptable.
