Discovery
Mardek Dellel is apparently a special agent with Imperial Intelligence. After gaining access to Imperial transmissions at a comms facility on the planet Jhako, a squad from Echo Company, 31st Regiment discovered Mardek was holidaying on the planet Dorumaa. Thinking he would make a tempting target, the squad located him at the Palatia Hub at the Dorumaa Resort. However, he was listed as being a representative of the Cybot Galactica Corporation.Contact
First contact was made with Dellel by Private Kesc Gifl'el, being introduced by Mar Daghreb. Gifl'el attempted to bluff that he too was a member of Imperial Intelligence and said he was meant to take him off-world for a mission. Dellel invited Gifl'el to take part in a Sabaac game that evening at the Palatia Hub Boonta Boonta lounge, a game that Gifl'el attended and Dellel won. Following the game, one of the other Sabaac players named Jon Elasso seemed to take ill, though it is likely he was drugged. The squad followed Dellel escort Elasso back to his room but did not intervene.Capture and Transport to Ogem
Later the same night as the game, the rebel squad received a call to their room asking them to come to Elasso's room. However, when the squad arrived, Elasso was found dead and it seemed quite likely that Dellel was setting them up to take the fall for his killing. On returning to the lobby and informing security of the murder and were promptly ordered to hand over their weapons. A fight broke out, during which Delell arrived and engaged in combat. After the firefight (during which, Dellel's potential collaborator Jazzmina Sato was driven off) Dellel was captured and taken in an airspeeder. He was then taken off-world and transported to Echo Company barracks on Ogem. During his transport to Ogem, Dellel admitted to killing Elasso but would not give his reasons why.Relocation to Farstone Base
Seeing as they had limited facilities to interrogate and make use of Dellel at Ogem, it was decided that he would be relocated to Division HQ at Farstone Base. This relocation would also act as cover for a squad from Echo to investigate the possibility of a mole at HQ.Employment
