The Frigid Bluff

Geography

Due to the white dragons the climate is constantly cold and snowing. Many citizens find themselves close to freezing to death during the coldest part of the year. Anyone who travels to the land will find themselves wading through feet of snow. Lakes and ponds throughout the region are frozen over year round. Making gathering water incredibly time consuming.

Fauna & Flora

Because of the freezing temperatures of the bluff many flora and fauna struggle to survive here. Few plants outside of pine trees grow here. Berry bushes,crape myrtles, and snow caps are some of the only flora that grow here. The animals that live here have evolved over the years to survive the harsh temperatures. A few examples are Caribou, Snow leopards, and polar bears. Because of the lack of resources on the bluff. It can be very dangerous to venture without protection. Many of the animals that live here would see a wandering adventurer as a nice snack.

Natural Resources

The only natural resource that has been found and harvested within the bluff is the massive amounts of oil found underground.

History

The Frigid Bluff has always been relatively small when compared to some of the other more sprawling countries within Agodale,but in the past it had a large population with a deep primal culture. However since The Reckoning The Frigid Bluff more so than most areas was heavily damaged from the war. The population has fallen to almost a quarter of what it once was. The climate has become more vicious and cold than before making life difficult for common folk.

Tourism

Tourists are heavily vetted before entering the country, The Conclave is very unstinting of others except those from The Ember Isles. Between and deceitful government and a lack of resources very few people have any reason to come to The Frigid Bluff. One of the only aspects of the country that attracts attention is the massive cave system South of the city that is walled off by massive icy mountains. The Conclave claims nothing but oil is within the cave system but many rumors run wild of what is truly down their.
