Yahven

Originally founded by Cyrus Hargrave to be a center of learning, Yavhen still honors his spirit today, boasting a number of universities and trade schools for everything from Alchemy to Theater. The crowning jewel of Yavhen, of course is the Royal Academy of Arts and Science. Though no longer associated with a monarchy, the name has been kept for nearly 400 years. Students from across Aheila, and sometimes even from other continents travel to Yavhen in the hopes of being admitted to the Academy.
As a center of culture, Yavhen attracts quite a bit of tourism. Theaters host plays, concerts, and dance performances. Bards play on the street corners, and the expansive Central Museum of Kaisu displays art and artifacts from all around Aheila.
Settled amongst the rolling hills of Kaisu, Yavhen is surrounded by fertile farmlands. A few guards patrol the streets and the city is walled, however it has been decades since the wall has been maintained and whole sections are crumbling. More than a century of peace has lulled Kaisu into a sense of security.
