Cloud Stones

Cloud stones are bouyant rocks. Most are bouyant enough in air to generate thousands of pounds of lift, and their precise bouyancy can be manipulated using lodestones. Once used extensively in Titanic Technology, the art of creating cloud stones is long lost, and so those that remain are precious beyond their volume in gold or platinum. Both the surviving cloud mansions of the Giants and the stone-lifted Skyships of the High Eeries search the skies for rogue stones, and comb the ruins of fallen Titanis for cloud stone foundations trapped beneath their rubble.
