Q'Vas, Marquis of Mirrors and Lord of the Eternal Labyrinth was one of the original five Archdevils of the Nine Hells, and still sits on the current council of ten and wields the mirror Olvaro. A deceiver and a schemer, even among the cut-throat company of devils, that which is his seems fair, but feels foul. He is a master of cults and collector of twisted artefacts, delighting in returning the corrupting work of mortal hands to the material realm to bring low other would be heroes.
Q'Vas is noted for maintaining ties with the manifold Tieflings of his bloodline, marshalling them into sects which continue to form new pacts with their patron.
It is said that Q'Vas was born in the Hells to a mortal mother, who yet lives at the heart of the Eternal Labyrinth. He is said to be the scion of Ultima the Peerless, to be Abyssborn, to have been forged by Fulmar, and to have emerged full-grown from the Black Ocean. Much is said about the master of deception, but the only thing that seems certain is that he has a particular loathing for celestials and their truthseeing eyes.
None can say what Q'Vas looks like, for all see themselves when they look on him, as if reflected in a dark glass, eyes shadowed and crowned with a diadem of shimmering glass.
