Dire Wolf / Worg

Dire Wolves/Worgs are massive wolves with broader chests, backs, and jaws than normal wolves. They also have darker fur ranging from dark greys through dark browns, and black. Eyes range from yellowish-green through yellows to orange, and have a brightness, or glow in twilight and darkness. More aggressive, and territorial, they also display a crude intelligence, and are known to be used as mounts for smaller aggressive races.
Pack sizes rarely exceed 12, unless they are leading smaller wolf species packs.

Ecology and Habitats

Found in many climates, and terrain, although open grassland, scrubland, and dark uneven forests tend to house larger packs.
