Winter Wolf

These larger, semi-intelligent, wolves. Are distinguished from their smaller versions by standing nearly five feet at their shoulders, with fur ranging from light grey to white, and an almost ethereal blue-glow within their eyes. Those that do survive encounters with these creatures also mention a vapor like shimmer about them as they move.
Winter wolves travel in packs of two to six, rarely found in groups larger, unless they are the Alpha of a pack of regular wolves. They have also been seen as mounts for *redacted* and alongside Frost Giants as hunting companions.
