Asha Lynelia Vendel (a.k.a. Lynelia)

The famed , sometimes controversial bard Asha Vendel is a young, half elven woman, with a Oshal father and a wood elven mother, once from The Golden Forest. Her story is well known, due to many a poem and song being written about it. She met and befriended the bloodhunter Caius Vendel, eventually leading to the death of her parents and the loss of her estate. Since then, she travelled the world, continuing to build her name with her own personal tales, rather than the tales of others, causing her to become one of the most famed bards in the continent. Eventually, she semi-settled down in Zafeíri, partnering with the equally renowned bard Carrius Simara. The two now work in The Three Mistresses as the leading acts whenever they are between travels.

With a freckled face, tan skin, bright, turquoise eyes and streaks of red hair on her fringe, Asha's appearance is unique and, with her purple clothes and red lute, she is easily recognisable beyond even her home of Tirmar. She is noted as being a beauty, and has become a woman that many wish to court because of this.

Personal history

Asha Vendel spent a great deal of her youth aiding her father in writing songs and poems for nobles. She changed her tune when she met the bloodhunter, Caius Vendel, and offered him accommodation in her family home if she could travel around with him and so that she could write some true tales of her own. Asha spent weeks with Caius, until the local bandits, who feared the presence of a bloodhunter, burned down Asha's estate, and killed her parents. After Caius slew the bandits, the two parted ways for some time.
She travelled for a few years, developing a skill with bardic magic. Eventually, she heard heard of the discovery of ancient war machines locked in a vault where the warforged were found. Wanting a new story, Asha left, meeting Caius again, as well as the other members of The Everhaust Hunters.
After the Hunters finished their adventure, stopping a Lilith, Lady of Treachery, and her cult, Asha decided to go and live with fellow adventurer, Adria Simara, at the Simara estate, working at as a bard at The Three Mistresses (Carrius Simara's inn).

Likes & Dislikes

Asha loves stories, and loves writing about these stories even more so, becoming famous more so for her unique tales rather than the traditional, over exaggerated tales of grandeur. She also loves music and travel, spending much of her early adulthood travelling with her band. One the other hand, Asha hates kissing up, telling stories in a way that reveals the truth rather than stories that lie in order to make an individual seem better than they are. She also despises any form of repression, believing that freedom of both speech and choice.
