Evaline, the Demon Hunter

The partner in crime of the famed Dalion, the Demon Hunter, Evaline is also a Demon Hunter, working in the Infernal Inquiries Detective Agency alongside him. Feared for her use of an experimental rifle, Evaline is noted for being one of the best marksman in The Continent, despite only being a young adult. Now she travels the Continent with Dalion in their mobile operation, hunting and investigating Infernal Inquires whenever or where ever they pop up, dealing with them with a much more serious attitude in comparison to her colleague.

Physical Description

Identifying Characteristics

Although slender, and lady like in appearance, Evaline is a fearsome hunter, often wearing a long black coat over a shirt and waist coat. Her wavy, brown hair is usually topped with a tall, white hat, which partially cover her pale, blue eyes.

Personal history

Born as an Alderhardt native, Evaline was brought up in a middle class family, residing in the city of Strale. Although not particularly rich, she lived a comfortable childhood, until the family decided that they would move to Strobenheim, The City of the Stone Kings, after discovering a new found faith in the religion in the Church of Elysium. On the way there, the family was attacked by cultists of the Cult of Lilith, causing the death of Evaline's father and the capture of her mother while Evaline herself was left for dead.
She was then found by Dalion, who nursed her back to health, and later aided her in the attempted rescue of her mother, giving her one of his experimental rifles. She was a natural with the firearm, being quite the asset when the cultists, and their summoned demons were taken down. They were too late to save her mother; however, as she had been turned into a demon by the cultists. Unable to comprehend the idea of killing her mother in her demonic form, Evaline's hesitation allowed the new demon to escape.
Noticing her inherent talent, Dalion offered her a partnership, where she used her more formal education to help aid in the founding of the Infernal Inquiries Agency. Now she roams the Continent, hoping that she will be able to put her now demonic mother out of her misery.
