Fort Stouthardt

A near ruined castle at the border of what is now Knaeva and The Ithryl Woods, Fort Stouthardt was once home to the The Bloodhunter Guild of the Werewolf, and was the seat of the Hunter's council. The castle is also the site of the Hunter's purge, where the bloodhunters of all guilds (Werewolf, Barlgura, Kraken, Wyvern, Wraith, Nightwalker and Gorgon) met to discuss being hunted. Every bloodhunter was a part of this meeting, with the known exception of Caius Vendel, and all but one was killed after an ambush from The Knights of Alderhardt in response to a member of the Nightwalker Guild killing the country's king. Calder Echarlion, of the Werewolf, was the only to survive the ambush.
Now, only Caius lives in the fort, carrying on as a bloodhunter alone.
