The Knights of Alderhardt

The elite of Alderhardt, The Knights of Alderhardt act as royal guards, the vanguard in battle, or even as commanders of Alderhardt's military. Each knight is carefully chosen for their skill, and must have had previous military experience. Many require recommendations from higher ranking knights, such as lieutenants or sergeants, so that they become Knights themselves. All Knights, as a privilege, are personally knighted by a member of the royal family. Those that are lucky are knighted by King Florian Meitner himself; however, due to many expeditions to Oshal led by the King, many that become Knights in home soil are knighted by the King's daughter, the princess Niomi Mietner.
