Lana Verdanis

Known as the spymaster of The Citadel of Knaeva, Lana Verdanis was once a member of The Azure Owls, but left after being called upon by her old friend, Algar Sondell, when he went to form the country of Knaeva. Using her connection with the Owls, Lana now works closely with the Lord Protector, gathering information for him so that they can better identify possibly allies or enemies.

Identifying Characteristics

Whether out of habit, or simply due to being a preferred outfit, Lana is seen wearing dark, Azure Owl style armor, with added blue silks to indicate her rank. Much like many of Nashuto heritage, Lana has dark, straight hair,with brown eyes, but is seen often wearing a blue headband underneath her hair.

Personal history

Lana, despite being of Nashuto descent, ended up working the the Odessan branch of the Azure Owls, which was known for being one of the most difficult operations for the Owls. Although capable, Lana was not noted for being an exceptional warrior, but was known for her efficiency in running the operation, causing it to become stable after a decade of struggles. Here, she met and befriended the warrior Prince Algar Sondell, as she was often the main contact for him to the Owls.
After trading in information about the Valkans, in order to free the non-human prisoners in the Isles, Lana joined Algar to set up the Kingdom of Knaeva, but still kept in contact with the Owls, trying her best to set up a spy network for the Owls in Knaeva. Now working alongside Algar in Knaeva as his spymaster, and liaison to the Azure Owls, Lana gathers information from across the world, being one of the best to do so next to Duarr, the Azure Owl himself.
