The Honour Guard

Lead by the Guardian of the Emperor, the Honour Guard is a military unit within The Martéan Empire, acting as their special forces unit. It is noted that the individual warriors of the Honour, although formidable, do not have the reputation of other special units of human countries, such as The Knights of Alderhardt; however, what makes them a true threat is the discipline that is drilled into them from a young age. This has lead to the Honour Guard employing some of the most difficult tactical manoeuvres with relative ease, allowing them to have quite the advantage above the less organised warriors of the Sahrian Union.
Another asset the warriors of the Honour Guard have is their technology and equipment. Each are clad from head to toe in steel plate, and many are trained in the use of siege weapons and firearms. The wide spread use of this is almost enough to offset the technological advantages that the gnomes and halflings of Concidorne possess, given how much of their advanced weapons of war are very much kept to warriors of their own city state.
