The Kathoid Range

Although it is a collection of cities built into a dozen mountains, The Kathoid Range works more so as a singular city with multiple different boroughs, due to them being so well integrated and connected. Each different borough has a differing aesthetic, with some being lined with natural cavern walls and ore veins, while others have cleanly cut patterns of stone throughout the interior of the mountain. Due to its size, primitive train systems have been made using larger mine tracks between certain points in The Range, making a kind of underground metro service. Many machines wander the lower parts of the mountain cities, with elevators carrying those below the lived areas to the mining caverns and the Underdark below.   Being the capital of The Foghorn HIlls , The Kathoid Range is a popular tourist site, especially due to the quality of forged weapons, armor or other such goods that are produced here, alond with the sheer skill put into the architecture.
