The Baronies

The Baronies are not regonized as an actual country and therefore doesn't deserve a seat at the table in Sovos. Although it's undeniable that the Baronies are a real political force and threat. The Baronies are a series of robber baronies that are administered by chieftans of large organizations of highwaymen. Historically the barons have preferred to operate in well established countries to the west, but the establishment of the Banwan Marches and the fortified border with Albris doesn't allow for much mobility. So they've largely resorted to operating within the area controlled by The Wheat Kings. There is not an officially recognized leader of the barons.
