Cairn Moran

Cairn Moran is one of a series of ancient standing stone locations in the Glen Conon area of the Trotternish region of Sgitheanach Dubh. The creators arranged the stones in a circle of small lith intersected by three large lith. The inner circle is further surrounded by three lith laid horizontally and acting as benches. The central space appears to serve as a worship or sacrifice location.
