Sgitheanach Dubh
Located off the western coast of Tuathalba, Sgitheanach Dubh is the largest of the Innsegall Islands and serves as the center of the group known as the A-staigh Innsegall (Inner Islands).
The island derives its name from the dark colored limestone, basalt and volcanic (igneous) rock that forms the central hilly and mountainous backbone of the island. Some say the name also reflects the often dark and ominous skies that hover over the magical island.
