Geography
Glen Conon is a highland area that covers numerous hills, foothills and mountains. The hills ranges from 40-50 meters in height to around 2500 meter high craggy mountains.
The hills and mountains are mainly old volcanic flows(igneous), basalt, sedimentary, limestone and gneiss rock with numerous karst formations and areas of erosion forming natural caves and caverns. Some of the area is landslip with mounds of broken rock and limestone chips that can prove dangerous to those without sure footing. Fossils of ancient monsters, dinosaurs, mammals and ancient fauna can be found spread throughout the region.
The highland area serves as a watershed down to the North Coast for the River Conon and the River Rha. Some of the creeks and rivulets run both above and below ground forming underground waterways through caves and caverns.
Small lochs can be found across the region along with numerous waterfalls and pools. These small water sources work as watering holes for animals and other fauna as well the homes to water-born creatures.
Ecosystem
The Glen Conon region enjoys a temperate and sub-tundra climate.
