King Arthur Pendragon
His Majesty Arthur Uther Hereward Pendragon, I
Relationships
History
Arthur was born to Uther and then-wife Igraine, who would not survive the strain of his birth. Following her death and Uther's extended period of mourning, Arthur and his future ascension to the throne of Camelot became his primary concern. An only child and a prince to boot, Arthur grew up in immense luxury with the knowledge that one day all of Camelot would lie at his feet. As he grew older, though, he began to question the circumstances of his own birth and his father's vendetta-like hatred of magic - though he never publicly defied his father the king, it bears mentioning that Arthur lifted every law his father had put in place against magic upon taking the throne.

History
Morgana and Arthur are both the children of King Uther Pendragon - Arthur by Igraine in 1270, and Morgana by an unnamed woman from Cyneburg in 1244 - making them half-siblings. Morgana was raised in Camelot at Caerleon as Arthur's foster sister and lived there until such time as she discovered her own burgeoning magical prowess and ran away, eventually finding the Isle of Avalon and the Sisterhood of the Nine. Despite periods of tension between the two during Uther's magic-repulsed reign, Morgana and Arthur always maintained a deep affection and respect for one another. Morgana did all in her power to save Arthur from death at Mordred's hands and was unsuccessful, but it was his death that inspired her to unite with Camelot and Broceliande ushering in the Age of Enchantment.
The handsome, chivalrous prince turned king of Camelot. Arthur Pendragon was a tall, lean muscled man with golden hair and piercing blue eyes who made it his mission to unite the land of Albion during his rule.
