The White Serpent of Destruction
One of the Twin Serpents, Silinthinius seeks the destruction of everything. Why? Who knows, the Snake's followers would preach about how everything needs a counter force. For all of creation, there is an equal amount of destruction necessary. And maybe this is the goal the Silinthinius, but many others feel that her followers just simply enjoy it. The power to destroy your foes, break established traditions, annihilate the walls that stand in front of you. It is something that many people want, and Silinthinius is more than eager to provide said power. This tends to attract self-serving and selfish followers, not that the White Serpent cares. Destruction is destruction. Despite the chaotic and evil nature that destruction implies, Silinthinius holds no allegiance towards anyone. Her and her followers will destroy anything. They are just as likely to destroy an orphange as they are to destroy an evil HQ. Public worship of Silinthinius is typically frowned upon. Only the most accepting of cultures would ever allow a temple anywhere public, and even then under heavy scrutiny. Followers of the White Snake tend to band together to accomplish their goals, under the eyes of the public. They also tend to have a far more than average reptilian presence within their clergy, the peoples quite devout from a myth of long ago. It is not uncommon for the reptilian population to also worship Utosserix for this same myth. Silinthinius is thought to not be of the original pantheon, rather she is a twin creation made by The Primordial Wyrm along with Utosserix. It was said that The Primordial Wyrm made them in response to dragon's enslavement of reptilian kind many many years ago. There are few who can recount this story with any accuracy, fewer still who may have even lived through this age. Therefore, the relationship between Silinthinius and Utosserix is actually quite amicable, while their relationships with the dragon gods of Auro'thaken and Fayenok are quite poor.Depiction
