Ballads of the Fey'are

A collection of poetic works written in the early Lakorthian Age. The unknown author recorded many of the poems and songs the Elf people passed down to each other. Most of the content is early elven myth/history of their origins and growth as a people up to the time of the founding of the Areian Nations.

The work focuses heavily on the primary family of Fey'are people. This being Soun, his wife Tobia, their son Toeman, and Soun's brother Woyd. From this first family of elves come the elf nations, each led by one of the men of the family.; the Soun'are, Toeman'are and Woyd'are. The ballads include the fifth member of the family, Juhl, who will be the matron of the Juhl'are. She, however, is depicted as Soun's sister in some of the works, and his lover in others.
