Benetos was a rockhewn settlement said to sit on the north side of the Land of Five Lakes, on the shores of a lake. Home of the Beneten people, the town was the a major trade hub during the Randagri Period with a population of up to 5000 people.

To the successors of Benetos, the nations of Benet, this was their founding city. In Benetos the rudimentary understand of Magic, specify the aspects of Solanon, was unlocked through study of the stars and movements of the sky. The Beneten built large buildings dedicated to early astronomy.

The remains of the ancient town and its mysteries lay somewhere beneath the northwestern waters of Yaren Juhl today.
