Benet (ben ATE)

Benet was a powerful nation of some of the first non-Elf users of Magic in the world. They were believed to have predated the rise of the Areian Nations. The culture was a magocracy of allied city-states along the northern Yaren Juhl coast and the mountains to the west. The Benet people explored and created much of the knowledge modern scholars have in the understanding of arcane magic, especially the nature of Solanon. Allied with their neighboring Areian Nations, the Benet suffered the same fate as the elves during Dragonfall. Many of the post Dragonfall Human nations that formed throughout Anbar were established by Benet survivors.
