Faran, the Rainbow Serpent was the Narasan of the Elder Tree called Sessileg that dwelt in northern Novyum. Nearly no stories or legends survive about this creature, beyond its name. While most artist depictions of Faran have it a snake of multicolored scales, there is no evidence that it was either colorful or a snake.
