Narasan are ancient creatures from the prehistoric periods, when, according to mythology, people and animals could speak to one another, and magic was stronger and wielded by all. After the Aggelomachy the world changed, magic was limited, mankind became mortal, and animals' minds diminished into what we know today. As this change began occurring each of the seven Elder Tree choice an animal from their region as their herold in the world, the avatar of their power. These animals spoke for the trees and protected them.
