Gramhron (gram her ON)
the Crown of Great Gram
Part of the Areian Peaks, Gramhron stand north of Akavia's Peak. At eighteen hundred feet at the peak, it is shorter than Akavia's, and is the last of the tall mountains in the northern part of the range, with the elevation slowly declining until it reaches the sea.
Its peak and northern slopes are rocky and steep, creating deep valleys that are known as the Gramfells. Gramhron creates a natural wall, with its extended shoulders, isolates the Thorn Horn peninsula from the rest of Lhakamed. Travel over and through the mountains is made by thin twisting roads and tunnels built in ages past.
Gramhron marks the southern border of the Besed Orchold which encompasses the Gramfells and beyond. Except for in the deepest valleys of the Fells, its rocky sharp summit can be seen throughout the Orc homeland, making an easy landmark for the region.
