Lake Barra

Lake Barra is a vast, intermittently shallow, brackish water lake in northwestern Jerain on the continent of Ethae. The lake sits at the center of the Chambray bayou of Char'wyn. The lake's shoreline is made almost entirely of marshy cypress covered islands surrounded by rivers, streams, and pools. Timeworn stone walls and crumbled statues protruding from surface suggest that the region was dry land somewhere in the bygone past. The lake is largely left untouched by both the kursudu (Lizardfolk) and Human of Char'wyn. Both fearing what lurks in the lake's dark waters.
