the Mon

By far the most diverse people of Aldern, humans (scholastically the ‘mon’) seem to dwell and thrive everywhere life can survive. Humans are famous for their adaptive nature, as well as their ambitions. It is, there for, no surprise that the mon make up the bulk of the population in nearly all lands.

The diversity of the human race has been simplified by scholars into four major racial groupings. The dark skinned Dagmon from the continent of Dergonhad. The tan skinned black haired Ismon that populate many of the islands of the Cota Ocean and Anbar. The pale complectioned, blonde haired Normon of Novyum. And the light complection and dark haired the Somon from Jerain and islands of the Criup Ocean.

Human Ethnic Groups:

Dagmon: Defined as all humans from the major continent of Dergonhad.

Ismon: Humans from the islands of the Cota Ocean, including Na Boon. and Western Reach of Ethae (Anbar).

Normon: Humans from the Northern Reach of Ethae (Novyum) and the Cutting Mountains.

Somon: Humans from the Southern Reach of Ethae (Jerain).

Valmon: Early Humans from lost civilizations and cultures across Aldern.
