Mount Arctus (ARK tus)

Arctus is a single rocky mountain at the south pole of Aldern. Largely surrounded by icy ocean water and frigid fog, the mountain is often hidden from the sun, with only the upper tip in eternal sunlight. The tip is a sacred place for the native Frost Giants of Arkato. It is covered in thirteen megalithic trilithons, sites of ancestor worship, where the skulls of the 'founders' are housed. The mountain is home to the Jotunn clan of giants.
