Portaine (port A nah)

the Akadian Tongue

Portaine is a unique dialect of Maine, spoken only on the Portius Peninsula by the Akadian. As the other Maine dialects died away in favor of the current modern language, the isolated and independent people of Akadia kept their traditional ways of communication alive through the generations. Portiane shows heavy influences from Capedian.
