Working Joe model synthetics

Seegson has made a name for itself as a provider of functional Working Joes, sometimes referred to as Janes and Jerrys. These voice-activated humanoid synthetics are hardy and physically capable, if slow and with which are often challenging to interface. Their advanced analog circuitry makes them quite capable of repair following substantial damage.
The USCSS Del Paraiso, Colony Ship came equipped with 100 J-Model units and 3 experimental K-Model units (see below). As of July 13, 2020, 15 of the J-Models are active while the K-Models provided essential maintenance during the transit from Sol-space to Enoch System.
Android characters cannot push skill rolls and suffer other handicaps as described in the Alien RPG Core Rulebook.

J-Model Working Joes

The standard issue Working Joes are utilitarian, silicone-like skin, often in blue hues. Subdermal lights behind the eyes, ears, and mouth facilitate user-interface. Additional subdermal lights beneath the forehead, cheeks, and neck can be activated to facilitate users, specifically the hearing-impaired user with visual relays. These include common shorthand cues and symbology and advanced visual relays.

Assigned Units

Aryn Martin activated fifteen J-Model units and retains immediate oversight of nine such units in and around Boundless Horizons, Founded 2120 CE .
Dolores Banks has assigned one unit, nicknamed Working Josiah (dressed in scrubs and surgical mask), to the field hospital at Boundless Horizons, Founded 2120 CE .
Monique Young has assigned five units to security of Boundless Horizons, Founded 2120 CE , which are equipped with Seegson Extendable Stun Batons (+1 Bonus, 1 damage, Stun Effect, Power Supply 5). One J-Model has been vandalized with a curling mustache and has been dubbed Working Josh.

K-Model Working Joes

K-Model Joes are experimental prototypes developed by Seegson . Their similarities to the Weyland-Yutani Wilson Model (see Alien: Covenant) has drawn criticism of industrial espionage and theft of intellectual property. The USCSS Del Paraiso, Colony Ship was equipped with three K-Models.
