Once a member of The Moon Chaser. After the ship's untimely demise, she found herself floating on the ocean with very little to keep her afloat. Luckily her fellow crewmember Khivis Vananzath was able to obtain food and keep her alive during the week on the driftwood. Khivis worked hard to find fish and other things to help keep them alive with the hope of rescue from a ship or other means. Tragically Khivis died just hours before Carmela saw a ship coasting along the waters in the dead of night.
The ship was not the savior she has hoped for. It was captained by a cursed and twisted Vampire named Captian Damion Cata. He captured and enslaved her in hopes of one day raising her from the dead and using her soul to feed a Gleaming Skullbearer. After days passed and she was on the brink of starvation The Pirate King on his ship the Maidens Honor with the help of adventures he also rescued, boarded the ship killed the Captain, his Skullbearer.
Aboard The Maidens Honor, it was discovered her left arm was infected and sickly. Amputation was necessary. After deliberation and thanks for Bobushio saving her life, she joined the Pirate Kings crew and served the Pirate Nation.
She was kidnapped and tortured by Nerezza and died. Bobushio asked the Vedelken on the island to bring her back to life. Ian let her borrow the ring of regeneration and her arm was restored. As a thank you, she agreed to captain the ship to escort the refugees back to Astrafell before returning to Oni Island.
During the Massacare of the Oni Island Carmella escape with Bobushio on The Dragons Redemption - Airship with a small group of other pirates.
