I just wished for my brothers and sisters to be free of our mother... I never thought much what I would if I was successful. Nor did i Think I would survive such a success.
Alquerien Carivas Egrevius (a.k.a. Alquerien the Defiant)
One of the children of the Dragoness Runiger and among her greatest disappointments. He saved many of his brothers and sisters in his time as her captive.

Heavily scarred but overall functional, Alquerien has survived much and he will perservere through anything to see justice delivered.

Personal history
Alquerien hatched alongside Numiner, though the two were among nearly twenty others. Where Numiner was physically frail and underdeveloped, Alquerien was robust and strong. He was among Runiger's favorites until he witnessed his siblings attacking Numiner and slay another of their brood mates. Alquerien defended his sister from her attackers and injured several grievously. This act earned Runiger's scorn and both he and Numi were branded with runes marking them "Traitors and Failures".
Alquerien took every punishment he was dealt and he attempted to flee with his sister when presented with a chance, but in protecting her from capture he was captured himself. He last saw Numiner as she fled into the sky while he was bound to the muck and dirt by their Mother. For his aiding of Numiner, Alquerien was sentenced to live under Runiger's merciless treatment. He was beaten and used as in experiment after experiment, never allowed to die only to suffer under his mother's ire. During his time he has aided half a dozen of his siblings in their escape from Runiger's clutches, usually those to scarred or crippled to survive her treatment of them. Each time earns him more punishment, but he bears it proudly knowing that he has helped others live.
Now free to spend his time as he chooses at the Keep, Alquerien has elected to spend time within the Starlight Grove. He likes the peace within the forest and the open sky above him. He continues to check in on his siblings and has been catching up with his long lost sister. He has begun studying the Druidic arts and shows promise in them, specifically he seems to enjoy Fi-Yore Eld's and Acren Eld's practice of the Circle of Wildfire and its focus on rebirth and regrowth.
