Djinni (Gin-E)

Assholes the lot of them, Greedy beyond reason and powerful enough that you have to listen to them. Though if ya catch one in a good mood, they might use some of that power to grant ya a Wish.

Djinni are the most powerful of all Genies, The Masters of Winds and Storms.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Djinni are Air Elementals first and foremost, the bottom halves of their bodies are almost always raging whirlwinds or smoky tails, as they would rather perish than walk along the ground as the weak do. All Djinni have blue skin and black hair, Masculine and Feminine Djinni are common in Equal Measures.

Genetics and Reproduction

Djinni see most mortals as beneath them, and thus rarely reproduce with such creatures. On the occasion a Mortal manages to impress a Djinni they may deign to lay with said Mortal, rarely out of any form of compassion and most likely only to grow the strength of their line.   Another Occassion in which a Djinni might lay with a Mortal is if the Mortal is the holder of the Lamp they are bound to.   Djinni have children exsclusivley that are Air Genasi and unlike the others of their Kin, if a Djinni sires a child, they will be raised with Pride and Care.

Behaviour

Djinni are Arrogant and Proud and any Djinni of note will create a floating Palace within the Elemental Plane of Air. Calling themselves Sultans these Djinni gift Mortals power in exchange for rare and exotic trinkets, For stature and beauty. Anyone who enters a Djinni's Palace must be wary as the creature will attempt to bind you to its service eternally.   Due to an ancient trick played upon their kind, each Djinni is born with a Lamp bound to their presence and any who hold the lamp the Djinni must obey. If the Lamp is destroyed so is the Djinni. Most will hide their lamp or keep it upon their person at all times.

Additional Information
