Lady Mikkela Lisser Kalte

A Half-Elf Warlock, Mikkela's original Patron, An Elder Dao by the name of Serkal Kalte, was slain and as a last act he transported her away from the battle. She arrived in the Plane of Water near the Silver Fleet and was taken in by Nalian mar Cesier whom she made a new pact with. She then journeyed to Dragon's Claim Keep with Naraxus mar Cesier to learn of her abilites and to meet more people than simply her patron.

Personal history

Mikkela was abandoned at birth by her mortal parents for unknown reasons, but she was found by the Dao Serkal Kalte and he took her in, as he had long wished for company in his lofty palace. The girl grew up learning the magic of her adoptive father, and she proved rather adept at it. Serkal crafted living stone caretakers to wait on the two of them and Mikkela grew up a cultured and intelligent young woman, though she had her father's bad habit of disliking visitors and strangers.
When she was 10 Serkal made a pact with her, to share his power with her and give her the means to defend herself when she inevitably chose to go out to see the sights of the world. Following this she summoned her familiar for the first time, a raven that she named Pebbles. While she longed to follow her Father's elemental nature and use the power of stone and earth, she proved to have a natural affinity for fire which was Serkal's secondary elemental affinity. He encouraged her to follow her nature and she blossomed into a capable young wielder of magic.
Until recently they lived within Serkal's Palace within the Elemental Plane of Earth. It was only when they encountered an unknown visitor who attacked Serkal that this changed. The Elder Dao put up a fight but was outclassed by this unnamed warrior. Before the killing blow was struck, Serkal used his magic to get her away, and the last thing Mikkela saw was her Father being impaled upon the attacker's blade.
