Varinine
I lost my legs to mother and was given these by a kind friend... He is gone now... because of her. I await the day when I meet him again upon the other side.

Varinine is a Black Dragon with Prosthetic legs and a child of Runiger.

Personal history
Varinine is an odd case among the children of Runiger, in that she cannot return to her Draconic form, either by choice or by magic. She escaped Runiger for a time at the cost of her original legs, and happened upon a kind human Artificer who made those she currently bears. She traveled with him for a time before Runiger found her once more, killing her companion and bringing her back to her brothers and sisters.
Runiger was outraged when she found that she could not force Varinine back into her Draconic form, as the enchanment upon her legs binds her to her human form and despite Runiger's best attempts she could not break the enchantment nor break the prosthetics. Varinine was branded and cast into the shadows with Runiger's other traitors. She has all but given up on her freedom as she cannot flee on foot.
After arriving at Dragon's Claim Keep, she like her sibling's, wandered the grounds searching for a place that spoke to her. She eventually stumbled onto Shizani's Workshop, and took to it immediatley. While not a naturally gifted Inventor like Shizani, Gilroy or Ykiza, Varinine wishes to pursue the craft of her fallen friend in honor of his memory and to be able to keep her legs in working order. While initially annoyed at another invader within her Workshop, Shizani has enjoyed
Varinine's enthusiasm and has been teaching her the basics of Artificer Technique.
She has worked alongside her sister and her new found friends, though Varinine has spent more time out within the Wider Keep, enjoying the open air and the sky above her. In her wanderings she has been seen enjoying the company of Vara Eld, whom seems to find the feeling mutual. The two can often be seen conversing at all hours of the day and have been seen together at the Dancing Dragon Tavern.
