Personal history
Davenas Whitehall was the firstborn child of King Terrowin III Whitehall. As he was the firstborn he was groomed to lead and eventually take over from his father. His childhood was filled with private tutoring, combat training and sitting next to his father as he ruled the kingdom. Davenas turned out to be very much like his father, he was a good fighter and was given a permanent place at the royal council because of his strategic mind.
The loss at The Battle of Razor Hills was a big tragedy that left the kingdom shaken. Not only losing the king, but also the heir left Revendell very vulnerable. Davenas was not killed in the battle, but the world believed him to be dead. He was captured and held by the gnolls for almost two years before being rescued by the Defenders of Revendell. After being rescued, Davenas was made the king of Revendell, inheriting after his son Thristvar.
