Personal history
Vannan was born the 9th and last child of Nilcraes Broodmore. During his childhood and youth, he spent most of his time throwing money and possessions, women and luxury products. He didn't have a true goal in life as he was not the heir to anything. His brothers and sisters viewed him as the lazy and unintelligent part of the family and therefore he never felt like home in their palace. At the age of 24 he had taken enough abuse from his siblings and his father so he took out his small inheritance in 5 trading ships and enough gold to buy an estate somewhere else. He then sailed them to Tyrania, and more specifically the Montlet Coast. He settled in Port.Khalazan and began building what would become his legacy. He threw away his family name and founded the Vannan Trading Company. His first decades were slow but he managed to build something that would last, and not soon after he married a lowborn woman he fell in love with. Her name was Zelrora Novshade . Vannan did not wait to propose to her and within only three months they were married. Vannan liked the Novshade name so he took it as his own because he loved Zelrora, but he also took it because he could think of no better insult to his father than to take the name of a lowborn woman. He also changed the name of his trading company to The Novshade Trading Company. Vannan only had one child with Zelrora as he wanted one person to inherit his legacy, unlike his father which made his siblings fight for it. When his son Lorzaran was born he spent most of his time with him and wanted to personally tutor him and teach him the real values of life. In his later years, Vannan let his son slowly take more and moreover so that he could live out a happy retirement.
