Afia
Afia was a young girl, believed to be about the age of nine when first mentioned in historical records. Little is known about her childhood prior to a promise of guardianship from her mentor and liberator, Omah Silguero.
Found on the streets of Bayt Alma, Afia was believed to be about the age of nine upon her discovery during a skirmish that occurred during a raid. She was in bad condition and had clearly been maltreated, but upon liberation by Omah she quickly recovered and accepted her new life as the bandit’s adopted daughter and accomplice.
Afia was a quiet girl with a fiery personality. Despite being unable to speak for months after her capture due to the trauma she experienced, she slowly opened up and became more confident in herself and her abilities.
She grew up to be a confident fighter and took on Omah’s role of protecting the innocent and would go on to support the two of them as Omah became older and less agile than they onc were.

Afia occasionally refers to Omah simply as "Om", perhaps as a replacement for the typical gendered terms of familial association.
