The Storm's Heart atoll
The Storm's Heart atoll is the largest island in The Maiden's Belt archipelago. It is also the very island which acts as the place for twin city of the sea elven capital, Nealaestar. The atoll is guarded by smaller islands, which seem to divert the stronger storm winds away from the atoll and thus, the tropical storms almost seem to avoid it. That is why it has been called the Storm's heart atoll, because in the heart of the strom, a cyclone or a hurricane, there is usually an odd sense of calmness.
Climate
The climate is tropical; it's very hot and humid, and in the winter time the area where the island resides, The Maiden's Belt , is prone to violent tropical storms, even so because The Maelstrom of Tears resides in the vicinity.
Fauna & Flora
The atoll is a home to abundance of different flora and fauna of the tropical sort. The island is a home for great deal of different species: colorful parrots, spotted big cats, and even a few magical beasts, which luckily lurk in the thickest part of the jungle forests and they tend to avoid the inhabited parts of the island.
Tourism
The Storm's heart atoll receives quite a lot of visitors. It's a favored place for merchants who usually travel along the The Maiden's Belt hailing from either continent of Madovar or Astaros, often stopping Malvere on the way.
