The Scavenger's Paradise is a fine dining seafood and sea monster restaurant that create experimental and magical dishes to serve people throughout Edmonton and those that visit after discovering the secret of the restaurant.
The restaurant is owned by Maestro Devin Rue, a Triton chef that formerly worked with the Maestro's Guild and is currently preparing for the 'Night of the Knives' a yearly event in which chefs enter competition with one another and compete to see who will be named the 'True Knife'.
The Scavenger's Paradise currently has a staff of:

• 6 chefs who are apprenticed to Devin.
• 3 waiting staff
• 2 cleaners.

Often, it is not surprising to see wealthy travelers from Alturis' city's or it would not be surprising to see mages capable of teleporting to visit Edmonton for a meal with their friends.
The Scavenger's Paradise often sends take away boxes with a delivery guy through to the Bargainer's Chip.
The restaurant will serve a variety of seafood based dishes consistently on their menu. However, their real joys come when the Umala mercenaries visit Edmonton with recent kills. Devin will use these monsters to create new experimental dishes... some hit and some miss.
The Scavenger's Paradise is quintessential fine dining, though there have been experiments with more wholesome meals that have not gone spectacularly well.

Purpose / Function

The Scavenger's Paradise is a fine dining restaurant that has been running for 3 years now. Devin is using it as a recent experiment to see how they can make fine dining meals from the grotesque monsters from the Umala oceans. 
This also serves the dual purpose for the other chefs who wish to train under the ever demanding and high standards of Devin Rue.

Alterations

The house taken by Devin has been changed to accommodate more seating and an open warm space of decadence, Devin has really worked on the theme of rustic-ness and mystery around the myth of the Scavenger's Paradise.
