Sure, their name sounds a little soft, but their wares will keep you warm in the coldest parts of the Mammoth Peaks and, well let's be honest, I see the look of you. The Mammoth Peaks is where you're headed I assume?

The Silken Coat is owned by a silver dragonborn tailor named Nikolaus Woven who is passionate about surviving cold climates and has a low key passion for looking deeply stylish whilst doing so. The Silken coat deal in a variety of materials but mostly in fashionable cold-weather gear. The store has been in Edmonton for 12 years now as Nikolaus was once a Freyfrost Aist Mage and supplier to the blades of Freyfrost but moved away for a quieter retirement in Edmonton. He charges a slightly higher price than your standard tailor or equipment but, in return, you can have far more fashionable and well designed cold weather gear. Generally the gear consists of animal and monster furs but there is also lighter gear on sale that carries warming enchantments across it... though Nikolaus will warn anyone buying this gear that he can't promise an inquisitor won't 'smell it'.

Purpose / Function

The Silken Coat sells warm clothing of all kinds that are especially effective when dealing with the thick snow and biting cold of the Mammoth peaks. It is advised that an adventurer at least visits the Silken Coat before moving through the Peaks.

Alterations

The Silken Coat has been altered several times in the last twelve years and has been fitted with clothing railings across the store and several fitting rooms as well as having a second floor built on it devoted to where Nikolaus lives with his wife.
