Rockbloom is a rare plant with large leaves growing closely to the stem. They're used to protect the plant from the freezing temperatures it faces in the mountain heights. Growing high up has protected them from exploitation by the races of Astra Netheris. They grow mostly in areas with high concentrations of
Blossom Ore.
Features
Rockbloom are larger than the other Mhri-touched plants and have especially large leaves. These leaves are rough and difficult to tear. They protect the plant from danger and the cold. Its small flowers come in different bright colours like yellow, blue, pink and bright red.
History
Rockbloom was discovered not much after the Lightshade plants when the races of Astra Netheris started to venture further into inhospitable territory. As it only grows in cold and barren mountainous places, Rockbloom is difficult to harvest. Its leaves are very potent in channeling magic, but they are difficult to process. Thus, people rather prefer the stems of the
Blue Poppy.
This said, Rockbloom is most useful to discover concentrations of Blossom Ore, one of the Aehir-touched rock formations. This said, Rockbloom, together with
Rockbloom, have not been endangered since their discovery.
On Alvunne
On the Continent, one can find Rockbloom in most mountainous areas, except for the
Scraping Mountains. This mountain range does not contain any presence of Blossom Ore.
